Disney Channel To Air New Series 'Dog With A Blog'

The Disney Channel is set to air their new series Dog with a Blog this October, according to the Examiner. In true Disney fashion, the program will follow the day-to-day adventures of a talking dog who also moonlights as a blogger. The family — including step-siblings Tyler, Avery and Chloe, and their parents Bennett and Ellen — is shocked to discover that the family pet is spilling their secrets on the internet. Depending on your sense of humor, hilarity should follow.

The official press release states that Dog with a Blog, which is centered around a blended family, is told from the canine’s point of view. As the family learns to adjust to their lifestyle, the dog — who goes by the name of Stan — shares his experiences with the world. It’s kind of like Doogie Howser, except without all of that pesky medical melodrama.

“Bennett adopts a shelter dog in the hopes that it will inspire Tyler and Avery to get along and bond over taking care of him.
